I need to know how to hook up a tach in a 2002 chrysler Neon. 2.0L engine

the tach signal is a 2 pulse and my tach is only made for a 4 pulse. is there any way to hook this up without having to spend $150.00 for a chip to do this? If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

Darren Landry

Doesn't the unit you got have a self tach learning option on it ? You can try wrapping the tach signal to the injector wire ( uncommon ) but this is a 1 cylinder signal.... good luck.
