I just got done installing a Scytek 777 in a 2005 Dodge Magnum.  I tested the unit and everything was working fine.  I attempted to start the vehicle and the starter engaged, it started, revved kinda high and shut off.  I started it again with the same result.  I tried for the third time and this time the starter would not engage.  The key would turn on, but not starter.  I suspect the factory anti-theft system is the problem.  Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas on how to reset the factory alarm?

Thanks,

Ki

well guys, it was the factory alarm ... the key i had would not turn the alarm on or off ... however, when the owner arrived with the other key, everything worked fine ... i was able to arm and disarm the factory alarm and the vehicle started ... the original key continues not to work ... anybody have any ideas on what might have caused this?
