Somebody please help.  I have just bought an rx-7 import from Japan that has a Bose acoustioc wave system installed as an optional extra by the original buyer. I Have taken the original Clarion front load cd player and cassette deck out and have tried to connect my alpine iva-m700r retractable monitor with minidisc to run with the existing system. As you all know the alpine has standard wiring where as the bose sytem does not seem to. For a start something i found very strange, the power and speaker connections are on the same loom and what seem to be 4 wires for the sub drivers are on another. After wiring all execpt the speakers there are only five wires left. I have been told by someone that this system has a common negative for all speakers. Using this info i have managed to get the front speaker to work at one point but when i switch the car on the sound dissapears. Does anyone know why this happens. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know which colour wires are what. Please help me as i do not think i can do another long journey cruising at 140mph without any music. P.s I have apprx £8000 worth of diamond audio and genesis and phoenix gold and audiobahn sitting in my corrado until i have finished bulding an enclosure to replace the back seats(as pointless as they may be) so i can get my four diamond 10"'s in as they will obviously not fit in the trunk. until this happens i need sound or i will crash and burn! once again please help
