97’ Ford Explorer Polarity System?

Do the 1997 Ford Explorers have a positive or negative ground? Im installing a CD Radio and i need to know where to put the ground.. back to the battery (-) or to the chassis?
Please help me.. i need my radio!!

Ford hasn't been POSITIVE Ground since the 50's....................
It is NEGATIVE Ground...........

Further note, if you look at the battery. One post of the battery ternimal will be connected to chassis. That will be your ground. Get yourself a $10 basic digital multimeter and try to learn to use it. It will save you a lots of guess work and expensive mistakes.
