I am tring to find an existing gromet to pass a 4 gage amp wire throught the firewall of my 2003 Grand Am so I do not have to drill a new hole.  Any one have a diagram, explanaiton or better suggestion?

Under the driver's side dash you will see a large harness passing through the firewall near the kick panel. The grommet it goes through should have enough room in it for you to cut a small slit in it to pass the cable through. Use some putty to re-seal the gap around the hole to prevent water leaks.
