this is the first time i have worked on one of these vehicles so, i am not sure what harness to use. i am installing a new head unit and adding an amp for subs. not sure if i need a special harness. someone told me it would need a harness similar to the cadillacs. any info would be appreciated.

i am looking for the same wiring diagram as you were.  if you have it would you forward it to me?  i have a stock cassette stereo with the plug for the slave cd and want to install it in a friends p.u..  i just bought the stereo off of ebay and plugged it into my 95 gmc pickup to check and see if it worked properly.  the radio played and the tape would run but, i have no display on the radio and the tape nor the cd would play.  i am hoping that the harness just needs one of the pins in the connector moved or added.
thanks, joefish
