I am trying to install a crimestopper 2001rs remote start/alarm/keyless entry on my mustang.  i have reseached everywhere and tried to install it.  when i try to program the keypads, i either get no response, the parking lights staying on all the time or some other wierd combinatin of flashing lights.

does anyone have experience in installing remote starters in mustangs?

please help if possible,

thanks

Did you bypass the PATS system on this vehicle ?? Make sure that you are doinf everything that you are supposed to when programming the unit. Most systems require that you open the hood when programming.
