97 bmw 5 series radio removal

I need to remove the radio to install an fm mod for the sirius startmate 4....does anyone know how?i would greatly appreciate it, ive looked on all data, scosche's website, google, cant seem to find it....please help, the customer has been waiting patiently for about an hour or so and we havent gotten very far.thanks

some bmws only require a small allen head to extract the radio

no i thought it was gonna use that myself, but it's not that.thanks though, but every website says tha the removal is very extensive and should not be done, but  we need to in order to get the fm mod in...

have you checked to see if you can connect to the antenna on the drivers side of the trunk behind the carpet, if i recall there is a connection there on many bmws.
