94 honda accord, stereo wiring

i just bought this car and the factory harness connector for the stereo has been cut out. just a bunch of taped up wires. i noticed in the past when i'd change out a radio the wire would change color after it enters the connector. the stereo diagram that i found on this site shows the blue and white as the 12v constant. there is no blue and white wire. any help on this problem would be greatly appreciated. great site by the way.
