Directechs is saying that the locks are in fact (-)trigger, but that the color of the wire changes from BLACK/ red into brown yellow, depending on where the wire is located.Always test your wires with a DMM (digital multimeter)
Power Lock      BLACK/ red to BROWN / yellow       -       driver kick, 14 pin plug
Notes: Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder.
Power Unlock      blue / YELLOW to yellow/black       -       driver kick, 14 pin plug
Notes: Meter this wire while turning the key in the driver door key cylinder. Unlock requires a double pulse.
Can also use the passenger door key cylinder wire for unlock, which only requires a single pulse. It is GREEN/ black (-) in the passenger kick in a 14 pin plug.
