99 Sebring Convertible motor wiring -- posted image. I want to control the convertible top to make it go up using the aux output of my alarm. I have a window module and know how to wire it. I just can't locate the wires for the convertible top up. For the earlier models, it was apply 12V to one of the motor leads. I can't even find the motor on the 99 sebring convertible. I would like to find the wires under the dash, but even in the rear will work.

I tried checking the switch wires, The RED / RedStripe goes high (12V) when I activate the switch. The top closes. However, if I apply 12V to the wire, nothing happens. The BLACK/ Black Stripe goes high when I open the top,; but, when I apply 12V, nothing happens.
Yes, I'm not going to close the latches. I use this to leave the car protected (somewhat) from the Florida sun and rain. With the latches undone, the car can breathe and keeps cooler, and unless the wind is really blowing, litle rain gets in.
