Hi all, I am installing a Prestige APS 875a security system with remote start in my 1997 Honda Civic DX hatchback.  My one and only hickup is, I am not sure where to find the necesary tachometer wire.  I understand it is a blue wire from the12volt wiring diagram.  Unfortunately, all the info in the forums has been pretty vague=useless.  I've gathered together that the blue wire is "under the hood" and "on the driver's side firewall" on a "2 pin test connector" but that doesn't really help because I don't have a 2 pin 'test connector' on my driver's side firewall under my hood.  So can someone please be a little more specific (maybe a picture)?  I also heard (again, vaguely) that you can get at it from behind the instrument cluster; however, I do not have a tachometer on my DX instrument cluster.  Unfortunately this is not covered in the Haynes manual either.  Detailed help would be much appreciated.

Thanks a million,

Mark

It's attached to the black bracket on the upper side of the driver's strut tower. BLUE with silver dots in a rubber black connector.
