Eventually, when it warms up, im doing a 3 LCD setup with a universal A/V plate so i can plug anything i want into the system. where do most people get the 12v+ from for the LCD screens. im thinking an ignition 12 volt, possably hooked up to a relay to insure it has enough power?    12v+ Ignition( or accessory)  to contact 86, ground to 85, 12V constant to contact 30, and 87 would go to the 12v+  of the LCD's   I think im on the right track, any other ideas let me know.

thanks                                                                                                                                         Rich

Follow up of the last question, should the powerinverter be hooked up to a relay so that it is  "remote turn on" with the cars accessory or ignition, or can it just be hooked up to a 12v constant. if nothing is pluged into it it wouldnt be taking any power/current draw. howeve ri dont know if ide like the fact tht it was "on" even if the car was off. ?

Your relay is correct. As for using ignition for the turn on source is up to you, I would use acc. As for the inverter it should probably be hooked to the same turn on as the monitors, and it should be turned off when not in use.
