Hello. Sorry for the newb questions but I can't seem to locate the information I'm after during a search so I thought I'd ask.
I've got a 2011 Ford F250 with the factory SYNC system. It has the back up camera, the factory sub, but not the factory navigation. I'm getting ready to install an Alpine INA-W910 but have a few questions regarding certain adapters and the back up camera.
I'm cruising through Crutchfield and I'm seeing a couple of different adapters and I'm getting confused. There's this one http://www.crutchfield.com/p_541MSFRD1/Ford-Factory-Radio-Interface.html?tp=3486 that looks like it retains all of my factory steering wheel controls. Then there's this one http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SWIJACK/PAC-SWI-JACK.html that retains just my steering wheel controls. Now, do I need both or just one of those to retain steering wheel controls?
The unit comes with an optional back up camera but I'd like to use the factory unit since it's already installed and clean looking. Does anyone know where the wiring for the back up camera is at and what if any adapters are needed to hook into the Alpine?

No idea of the wire colors or location of the wires, but you can always find the harness where it comes out of the tailgate and figure it out.  There will be no more than 4 wires, one will show 12 volts when the reverse lamps illuminate.  There may be 2 that show to be ground.  One is power ground and the other is the shield of the RCA cable.  The other wire will be Video Signal. 

An SWI-Jack is a Steering wheel control module only.  It is only for steering wheel controls.  I read the description on the frd1, it is unclear as to whether or not the SWI-Jack is needed to retain steering wheel control. 

Are you planning to amplify your front speakers?

Thank you. And I wasn't planning on amplifying the front speakers. At least not yet. Why?

Or maybe easier would be to mount an external speaker for the bluetooth hands free calls.

You can not run an amplifier through that module.

Awesome. I think running new speaker wires and bypassing the factory modules would be easier than all of that. Thanks for the help.

The more I think the more I think it's gotta be easier than that. The HU I'm getting takes care of the sound coming out of the front speakers by itself. And when I get ready to add an amplifier I'll be upgrading speakers at the same time so I'll be re-wiring everything anyways. I see no reason why I couldn't amplify the speakers after the module anyways.

If you bypass the module, you will not be able to use the SYNC's bluetooth for hands free calling.
