adapting a monitor

Hi everyone, I have a pair of video monitors that the player got ruined by a liquid spill, Is it possible to adapt the video monitors so I can use them with the stereo unit in my car, it does play dvds and has an rca video out plug but the monitors have a different plug-in that went to the player

It all depends on what signaling type each has - ie, composite or VGA, HDMI etc - and their resolution.
Any required adaptation would probably be thru a video converter and IMO it's often cheaper or better getting monitors that directly suit. (Don't forget the power requirements of the monitors - ie, 12V versus automotive 12V.)
