I know the rules regarding parking brake bypasses and if this needs to be locked, I completely understand.
With that said, I have a customer who has a Pioneer AVX2500BT in dash screen that he wants to put in the cabin of his boat so his kids can watch movies while they are out on the water. Obviously I will have to bypass the parking brake on it, but everything I can find is showing a basic relay setup (actual connections will not be posted) that triggers the parking brake ground signal only after the unit has started. However, from what I've found, the timing isn't quite right and the customer would have to turn the unit off then back on in order for it to actually work. Does anyone have any ideas as to how else I can accomplish it. Because of the rules, please do not post answers in here, a simple PM will suffice.
Also, the customer has been searching and found that if he were to use the Aux input for an audio only source, the screen will be blank. I am assuming this is because the Aux is used for video as well, but is there an option on the unit to set a background image for non-video aux sources?
Thanks in advance.

Aux solution is found. I guess as long as he doesn't use an aux cable designed for video, he won't have an issue. I have found a couple micro-bypasses online that say they work, but don't say how they accomplish it. The connections are all the same so I would think it's nothing more than a micro-relay, but they claim that it fixes the timing issue...
