An EQ with an auxilary input? You should be able to hook the DVD player to the EQ if it has a video input. Audio input definetely. The video input should have yellow at the end of the rca wire. Audio is typically red and black or black and white or whatever combination, but audio is in my experience...never yellow. Only video is yellow.
Hope this helps

You don't need a converter or anything like that... Hook up the dvd audio out rca to the rca audio in of the EQ-----
Hook up the one Yellow DvD video out to the Yellow video input rca of the Eq.
THe RCA's are already converted---it's a pre-out, with low signal strength---goes to an amp,eq or what not to get the signal amplified.
Make sure you have a yellow rca input on the eq..
An EQ should only have an audio input not video...An EQ processess sound and not video. But if you do have video in,,,then do what was said above and that should be it.
