Hola From A NOOB:

Vehicle:  2004 yukon xl

Monitors:  7" lcd w/dvd

question.     looking to hardwire these units.  they have fused connectors with 12v and ground wires.  the center console has a 12v constant ,I believe,  power point lighter outlet.  Can I wire both these units into that source, will there be enough power?  Also I was going to probly install two switches in the center console for on /off use by the driver.  sound good? will it all work?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

it should  work just check the voltage and make sure it has enought voltage for the monitors. as long as the car is on it shouldn't be a problem

Yeah it wil work but if you wire it to you cig lighter it will stay on unless you uplug it or use the swtich if you tap into your fusebox and hard wire it to a curcit that requires the car to be in acessory mode you can control ur tvs by the igintion which means when the car is off so are ur tvs no switches to flick
