Compustar CM7000, Click Sound While Using Brakes

Hi guys. I've installed a Compustar kit MaxIt CM7000 in my 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series diesel 2L-T engine with manual transmission. I can say that everything works fine: the reservation mode, the remote start, the alarm, no "crazy" behavior at all. But there is something I am worried about. While the car is running, everytime I press/release the brake pedal, or when I pull/push the hand brake, there is a "click" from the module, that means that some relay or relays inside the module are working. Is that behavior normal? As a driver can use both brakes (foot and hand) hundreds of times in a day, I'm afraid that the relays of the CM7000 may die. Thanks

It sounds like the CM7000's internal Parking Light relay is energizing because the unit thinks you are trying to enter Reservation Mode. You could check to see if the Parking Lights are coming on when you hear the click. If your foot is on the Brake Pedal and you engage the Parking brake, those are the first steps to enter Reservation Mode. Here in the States, it's unusual to use the Parking Brake while the car is moving.Soldering is fun!

Thanks for your answer kreg, and I mean that click sound is not normal and my CM7000 is in risk of failure My parking light switch turns the parking lights on outside the car and the dashboard, so When the green/white parking of lights wire of the CM7000 energizes during arm/disarm, triggering alarm, remote start, programming, or other normal commands, it turns both. When I hear the click while the engine is running, the dashboard is off. Nevertheless, I will see if the parking lights outside turn on. "The CM7000 thinks I try to enter reservstion mode". This is plausible, but it is not supposed to CM7000 "stay off" when the key is in ignition and the engine is running? I can not enter the programming menu with my remote when the car is on (ignition and engine running). When I drive I use the parking brake only when the car stopped, for example in a corner while I wait for the traffic light changes to green, or in heavy traffic jam, never when the car is moving. When the traffic light changes to green and I have to move, I disable parking brake and that click sounds. Also when I approach a corner and I have to stop, I push the foot brake and that click sounds. Bests.

What you are hearing is a relay click. When you pull the e-brake, you are activating reservation mode. When you put the e-brake down, you are deactivating reservation mode. It is normal. No worries.

But if I set the parking brake the click sounds for both (parking and foot brake). If I don't want any "click", whenever I stop the car (f. e. in a traffic light) I must not set the parking brake, just press the foot brake. I must change my driving habits, and I began to punish my right hand when she tries to pull the hand brake
