With the 2007 Ram P/U there is also a bypass module ( there are many possibilities ) in use besides the U1280. Pulling the fuse could have upset the bypass module. You might want to check the Bill of Sale for the R/S install ( or take a peek under the dash ) to see which one was used and download info on it for future reference also.
