When you press the unlock button in changing it into Automatic mode do you get 2 chirps?  Are you still getting any flashes from the parking lights? How Many?  The 5704 is really no different on the wiring than a 5701 or a 5902. Do you have an extra unit you can plug in?  HAve you programed the DB-All?  Is it  W2W or D2D ?

what confuses me about your post is that you say you get 12v on one side of the starter but not the other... is this during remote start or is this happening when you try the starter kill? if this is what happens during remote start then maybe the harness is mis-pinned... maybe the green and the purple are switched around as a factory defect or maybe they fell out and someone else put them back in the wrong order.

I'll try to get another brain to swap out... it worked for a short period of time but then stopped and all the connections are still good.

Did you ever confirm how you are making your connections? Soldered or not?

Well after some trouble shooting I have a found the issue when the pink wire (ignition 1) is disconnected the starter kill works as it should. And vise versa.

Did you ever put a DMM on whichever wire in the Escalades' ignition harness that the 5704's H3/1 Pink wire was connected to?  Obviously, the Viper 5704 H3/1 is crucial for remote start and some alarm functions.
Soldering is fun!
