Where the white wire is in your pic, mine is yellow. It tests positive only in the run position and not the start position.

That's it! Sometimes ignition 2 doesn't have voltage during crank, but this should be it.

I didn't realize that it may not have voltage during crank.
Can't wait to get it finished up.

Why in God's green and gracious earth would they change a wire color? I am certain it is yellow. It is nowhere near white.
Talk about frustrating!
Will post when I have it done today!

I soldered ignition 1 to this wire and then ignition 2 to the pink wire.
Still having the problem of brake light, ABS, and service 4wd light coming on ONLY when I remote start. If I turn the key to RUN, it goes away.
If I unplug my remote start, it of course kills the bypass. But, now, the pickup will not run without the bypass module powered up. I only have the ignition(soldered onto the pink wire) wire and obd2 wire connected. Should Bypass be soldered onto the primary ignition wire(the yellow-White-wire)?
I know I am close, but not sure if it is because of one or both of the above issues

UPDATE:
I fixed the ABS and service 4WD and brake light warnings.
I am not getting power to circuit 1020, so am getting the transmission codes being sent.
This has to be because I am not connecting my ignition wires correctly. I just don't have many ways to do it wrong. :-)

It may not matter, but I would connect ignition 1 (blue) to the truck's primary ignition wire (pink) and ignition 2 (white) to the truck's secondary ignition (yellow). Yes, soldering all connections is a good idea.
Have you verified the white wire is still programmed to the default (ignition 2)?

I didn't find anything on the bypass so I can't help you there.
Have you tested the truck's ignition 2 wire to see if it's getting power during a remote start? If not, I'd do that now. While you're at it check and make sure the other wires are powered when they should be as well.
Are you saying the truck won't start with the key unless the bypass is powered on?
*Just saw your previous post after mine posted. It looks like you're on the right track.
