10 hours and 31 minutes to download the whole thing.

I will leave it open until I return on Thursday (which should give me around a 2.0 ratio) and I have opened all my bandwidth for it to help people...

I have yet to mod my N2 so all the features are unlocked while I drive, would it make a difference if I modded it after I did the update? Or is it recommended that i mod it before the update?

makes no diffy man if you mod it now or later, just keep in mind that all motion locked items will be in full effect with the update and no mod...

sorry, I didn't understand the last part. Were you just saying that whatever is locked before the update will still be locked after the update? And then unlocked when I perform the mod?

OK, i did the update using the east disc and now my navi won't work. The Address Search, POI Search, Telephone Search and a few other options are disabled. I put the new v6 disc into the drive, the update ran successfully and the interface changed and everything after the system restarted.

I can only plot courses to my recently plotted addresses and I can use the Return Home feature.

I'm kind of scared now. Can anyone help me?

BTW, I updated my AVIC-N2.

Are you trying to do the above while you are moving? I see you have an Avic-n2, so you should be familiar with the lockout so my guess is probably wrong. The functions that you can not do require the vehicle to be stopped and not moving.

is it a copy of v60? are you putting th eold disks back in?

I am trying it at a standstill. No moving. Won't even work if the engine is off. I am using the v60 East disc, no old discs were tried since I did the update.

I forgot to add, taht yes, it is a copy of the v60, I downloaded the torrent from this thread that free_refil posted.

It burned fine onto a Dual Layer DVD disc and opened up properly in the computer. The deck recognized the newer disc and updated itself accordingly with no problems.

I am really worried because this thing is so expensive. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
