Hi Daren, I think next time I'm gonna ask you for a credit card first 
....here's a diagram showing everything as before, but with interrupting power to the extended pulse module. One thing you'll need to check is that the extended pulse module does not provide an output as soon as 12V+ is reapplied to it. If this is the case, I'll have to draw up a different work around for you (fingers crossed).
