Making passive crossover for speakers

I basically want to minimize the bass for the 4" fronts in my car because of the distortion. I was wondering where do I get the capacitors in order to do this and is there anything else I should know. Thanx anyone, I need help!

Hi The_Observer, you can purchase non-polar capacitors from your local car audio shop , most any  Radio Shack,  on-line from lots of places, just search for "non-polar capcitors", or from your local electronics shop.
