Hi thumpsalot, I'd recommend using 1 or 0 gauge wire from the battery to a distribution block near the amplifiers. https://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.asp

Tools, experience, time, and warranty are just a few good reasons to pay a professional to install it. However if you want to become an installer, there's no better vehicle to learn on than your own. You'll need an assortment of tools (  https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/tools.asp ), patience and more patience.  Most mistakes are usually simple mistakes, but damage to equipment can occur if improperly installed, so before you install any component, read the installation manauls and if necessary, read them again.

this is my first time here today and I'm very impressed by the information.  As the admin stated before ther best way of learning is in your own car. you can also always come back here and ask specific questions I'm sure most of the members have alot of knowdlege and can help you all through the install.
