IMO that is so obvious - especially on bikes!
And it's simple to do - just ground the light relay's coil thru the cranking circuit or starter solenoid etc instead of hard GND. (And since headlights should be thru relays...)
There is a thread somewhere about auto-connecting a dual-battey hayabusa or similar for 24V to the starter motor whilst cranking...
It's times like this I wish old threads could be appended to, but this has a better title anyhow (with the right key words - yay!).
