Trunk Release diagram for european Yaris 2009

Hello everyone, I recently installed a custom trunk release system in my Yaris Sol hatchback. Here you can see the scheme of the installation (I think I connected the relay upside down, but it works anyway) I would like to know how can I use 2 consecutive negative pulses from the remote control key to activate the relay of the trunk release? 1 pulse from the remote control unlocks all doors (this is factory default). I think the solution might be in this diagram but since I'm a newbie I don't know how to use it in my situation. I appriciate your suggestions, thanks. Marco

If this is all you want, a simple keyless entry system with an auxiliary output or trunk pop would do this for you. Then you'd just carry that remote instead of your factory remote. For a little more, you could get an alarm or remote start.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

You could use a PAC TR-7 module to do this.  Using Feature 14 wiring and programming, you could have the Green (+)

Input wire connected to the Drivers Door Unlock Motor wire.  Program the TR-7 to 2 input pulses within 3 seconds to give an output.  Connect the Blue (+) output wire to the wire at Relay Pin 85.  *

Here in the States a PAC TR-7 module goes for $15.  As Mr. Geepherder said, it might be just as easy to get a

aftermarket Remote Start with Keyless Entry system for $50 and have it all on one remote.

* Standard relay convention is Relay Pin 85 gets a (-) input and Relay Pin 86 gets the (+) input.  Your diagram will work

  as long as the relay is not polarity sensitive ( internal coil quenching diode ).

Kreg, very few Euro alarms have aux outputs which is why I've been using Clifford from the 80's!! Our OP might be able to use a Chinese fleabay for that money but I'll say no more. All the Yaris models, alarms are so easy.

Although using an aftermarket remote is the easiest way I would like to find a solution to keep using the toyota remote, and the PAC TR-7 module do exactly what I want, thanks Kreg. I took also a quick look at Clifford's website, if I'll have to install an aftermarket remote I consider these products. I search a lot the web about my issue, do you think that this diagram can help in my case?
