TSX, integrated window up/down
unit: viper 791xv
i spednt about 6hrs on this install and half the time tryin to figure out the window up and down but it only works half-assed.
problem:
i tagged the disarm/arm for down/up but it only works sometime. the money quoted was subtracted, so lost some money there. anyways, for next install i want to do it right but i need some suggestion on this.
how i did it:
used channel 4 and 5 via relays.
my idea:
i dont know if i need to tag another wires or not along w / the disarm/arm. i was thinking of lock/unlock to go along w/ it.
IF SOME HERE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS CORRECTLY, LMK. i am very close at it but the install was very frustrating, theres not too much room to wrok w/ and i dont want to go back at it again.

when you say it works "half ass" and only works sometime. what exactly happens? do they only roll up or down partially, not at all, etc..
Does the tsx work like the hondas, key in door lock cylinder will roll the windows up/down, etc. ?

itll work sometime and sometime it doesnt. lets say, itll only work 1 time out of 10times, which is pretty half-assed. channel4 is valid and channel 5 is 30sec.
yeah its the same as hondas.

i think you should set both of the aux channel to validity; chan 4 for roll up, chan 5 for roll down. to roll down; unlock then hold chan 5. to roll up lock then chan 4. that should work...

nah, it doesnt matter about that. the reason why i chose validity for channel 4 is because thats for roll up, just for safety precaution. channel 5 at 30 will roll down w/ one touch.
yes it works but itll work soemtime. if someone didnt catch it, on both channels are grounded via relays.
somebody here prolly attempted this.

that's how i did it. i tapped into the arm/disarm wires in the door panel. well, this is my setup
85: 12 volts
86: domelight supervision
30: aux out from alarm
87a: car's arm wire
87: car's disarm wire
roll the windows up, lock the car remotely and then press and hold the aux button. to roll down the windows, unlock the car remotely, and then press and hold aux within the next thirty seconds.
