I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and I'm trying to install an amplifier. I can't find a way to get the power wire through the firewall and I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to drill or route the wire.
Thanks.

I don't know, but I have the same truck (Ltd, 4x4, 3.5L 99 montero sport, power wire - Last Post -- posted image.) and I'm planning an amp install as well.  I might have a look after work.

In the '95 I used to own there was a real handy grommet right below the heater box on the passenger's floorboard.  It took me 5 minutes to run power in that one.

I checked under the hood - the grommet I was hoping to find wasn't there, but I didn't look all that close.

My truck was modified by the previous owner and it looks like they drilled a couple holes to the driver's side of the master cylinder, unless they were already there??
