I picked up this old amp an alpine 3554 4 channel amp and i was going to test it out and see if it worked but the remote wire on the amp has a 2 wire input with a plastic clip for the plug in, Do i spice my remote wire from the deck into 2 and steal a plastic connector off on of my remote control car batteries?( has the same plastic connector one square and one half round)... Thanks guys, who ever can help out...

sweet finally found a pic of the original clip used on the 3554 amp remote wire and it only uses the top wire of the clip and the bottom one is empty, wonder why they would have 2, on the inside of the amp top is blue and bottom is orange. thank god i have a old 9.6v female clip from a old remote car..
heres the pics for anyone else
