Ok, need a little help here please.  I have a 2004 Avalanche, removing an Avital remote start with the 555L and putting in my old alarm, a Cliford Matrix 3.5 with the 7100G.  Never used it before, but all convenience functions work, lock unlock, etc.  Remote start starts the truck, then shuts it down again right away.  It of course attempts twice more, with the same results.  It worked fine with the 555L, not sure what the problem is.  I reattached the small yellow wire when I pulled the 555L out.  Not sure if I have Passlock 2 or 3, but I did not connect the pink/black and pink wires to anything.  If I do have Passlock 3, I sure can't find the box.  I searched but couldn't find any answers.  The purple wire is soldered to the OBD II connector, and I did program the 7100G for platform 1 vehicles.  What am I doing wrong?

And I had a moment or two of dyslexia...make that a 1700g I used.  Also, I heard a rumor you can add relays to close the windows automatically without using a 529T, anyone know anything about that?

did you program the tach wire ?? thats the reason why it would star and die if it was an immobilizer issue then it would only crank .

I agree, probably not the 1700g. It would not crank at all if it was. Tach is more likely....

Yep, just as I was crawling into bed last night it occorred to me that I never programmed the tach wire!  I just did it, and it works great.  Thanks, you are geniuses!  So, on to issue #2, is it true I can wire a relay into this thing to make it roll up my windows without a 529T?  My plan is to use a 530T for up and down on front windows and 2 529Ts for the rear windows and the sunroof.  If I can do the rears without a 529T it saves me a dollar or two.

Ok, I'm back.  Just got my 530T and dual 529T's in.  My plan was up/down on driver and passenger windows, down only on rear windows, and open/close on sunroof.

1.  Windows:  from driver switch, I can get to the window motor, but no others.  Must be databus controlled?

2.  Sunroof:  found all the wires at switch, but 529T would click and not make anything move.  I'm thinking there must be a module somewhere, since I can "one-touch" open the sunroof.

Has anyone done these?  Through searching, I can see there is a mystery module that will roll them all up.  Even I can just roll them all up and close the sunroof when I arm the alarm , that will be ok at this point!  I don't even care if the 529 and 530 don't get used.  Please help me again...I have been having a rough week on this truck!

Ok, thanks!  So, does that mean I need to go to each door for the blue/brown wires, or can I get them all at the driver door?  It doesn't look like I have 4 sets of blue/brown wires at the switch.  And what does "module part of motor mean"?

You are correct. You will not find all your wires at the driver door module. You have to go into each door at the motor. i did this in my 03 Tahoe

As for the sunroof,  I have red and black as the 2 motor wires. I dont have a stock sunroof in my truck, but I can email you the schematic. Shoot me an email.
