The two red wires go to a 12V source, at the key. The pink white is programmable to be a second ignition, starter or accessory, and the 87a would be useful in the case of having to isolate away from the key, say you are doing a Toyota that you need to isolate the accessory. Depending on the vehicle you have, you will probably not need this wire.
sorry to side bust your thread but....
I am installing a unit in my 08 tacoma and was wondering if I will need to isolate my accessory? Is there anything else that I should need to know before I do this?
Thanks

Probably you won't need to isolate the accessory on that truck.
You should do a forum search and a vehicle wiring data search for your truck on this site if you haven't already.

accessory isolation is based on the vehicle. i agree with what chris reccomended. Check out the forum and see what others have done specifically on your vehicle and check the wiring for your car.

I have a 2005 Honda Element EX. I have the PKH34 and the XK02. Do I need both for the 5701 install. Does the XK2 only control lock and unlock?
Also would anyone know if I can find an install guide for this specific car?

XK02 will do arm/disarm as well if you have a factory alarm.  Immobilizer bypass requires the PKH34 - or an XK05 flashed with PKH3 on that car.

Without factory alarm I would recommend you save the XK02 for an Accord or Pilot and connect the (-) lock/unlock outputs directly.

Here's wiring info for your car - as mentioned in my previous post the vehicle wiring search tool is great.
