Hi,
I am thinking of buying the Autopage RF-425 LCD off ebay. I can't find the installation manual for it online but I found one for RF-420 LCD. I assume it would be the same.
Looking at the installation guide for the RF-420, I see that there's a 2-way transmitter antenna. It says, "The transmitting/antenna mounting location should be the upper left
or lower left corner of driver’s windshield. For optimum range we
suggest that the antenna be mounted as shown in picture to the
right. (Antenna tip facing up)"
Now, does it mean the antenna has to be outside of the windshield or inside? If it's inside how would a person be able to click the button on it to page me. If it's outside, won't it be damaged easily? Also, what way can I install it to have at least 6 feet of wire being straight.
Thanks!
