Hey guys, I've scoured the web and haven't been able to find anything about this remote starter at all not even on avital's website. I haven't even found anything that's confirmed that it exists-except here. found an old thread here that mentions it but it wasn't resolved. here's the address. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?tid=66969
I'm wondering if anybody at all has a wiring diagram or anything for this. basically my car has been having issues starting and has recently stopped starting altogether. I was hoping I could find a remote for this thing and fix the wiring issues so I could use it as it was intended but now i'm doubtful that it'd be possible. maybe I'll be getting another starter/alarm system later idk.
If Nobody has any ideas I guess I'll just dive headfirst into removing it altogether. I'm ordering a service manual for my car so I can figure out what this mess of wires is and put it back the way it was so I should be able to figure it out eventually.
thanks for your time.

I have to say good luck with this one. Directechs doesnt give any info on the 6390. If you can access the brain, unplug it and try to start the car. unless theres a starter kill/anti grind relay that has a bad connection the car should start. if it still doesnt start you probably have another issue. if you wanna try to get a remote and wiring info I would find your local DEI shop and they can probably get info on if a remote is available and an install guide from tech support. DEI tech is kinda anal about who they give what info to and probably wont tell you anything as the consumer

hey thanks for the response, I'm not sure if there's any shops around me and I have a feeling that It'd be pretty expensive to get anything from someplace like that.
I can't believe I hadn't thought of just unplugging it. I'm gonna have to give this a shot as soon as I can. If it doesn't work I guess I get to remove it altogether which shouldn't be too hard since I finally got my service manual.
I'm thinking that it has to be some sort of starter kill relay since I ran a wire straight to the starter and attached it to a relay under the hood with a switch in the car that I used to use for my fog lamps and I've been driving it for a few months like that. can't wait to get my fog lamps back!
