Hey. Did an install on a 2003 Kia Spectra today just thought I would throw in a couple notes.
Under the hood: Mount the servo in the pass side front of the engine compartment. There is a spot near the windshield washer filler in the corner. Remove 4 10mm nuts and pull off the plastic engine cover to reveal the throttle body. Real simple here just your basic gm type snap on throttle body. Then sandwich the cable itself into the factory bracket using 2 nuts. Run the wiring over to the firewall there is a metal knockout on the drivers side high on the firewall behind the under hood fuse box. Drill a hole in that piece and run wires to the inside.
Inside: From the passenger floor you can see the ECM harness running from the center console area. Carefully slice that harness open and tap into the the ORANGE / black wire. This is your VSS wire and is the only ORANGE / black in there. Otherwise the brake switch and ignition wires are all right in your face I don't remember those colors offhand, but you should be able to figure it out ;) Cruise handle can mount easily to the driver side of the shroud plenty of room.
This car had the 4 cylinder so 4000 pulses..
I know I know not exactly a rocket science cruise install just felt like contributing something so here ya go. Not sure how many people we have on this board who actually do cruises anyway. Later
