anyway to detect silent mode?

This is a general question about car alarm silent mode. Is there anyway to detect the silent mode? In other words, when you press the alarm silent mode button does it generate + or - output that you can detect from one of the wire. Or is it all a part of internal mechanism that you have no access to. I know this question might be a bit confusing. Let me know if you have no idea what I am talking about. I will try to explain again. Thanks.

Only that there's no arm/disarm beep. Done internally via the root software.

Most alarms still flash the parking lights when using silent mode. What exactly are looking to use a +/- output for. This may work.

How about the ground while armed wire? You can use that to determine if the system is armed or not.This information is provided only as a reference.

All circuits should be verified with a digital multi-meter prior to making any connections.

I have a leading question...WHY?

Sorry..everyone, I didn't get a chance to check back before. Anyway, this topic is the extension of this Hornet 554T question Standard key configuration for remote start on that system is to press Lock + Unlock simultaneously. I don't want having to pres 2 keys simultaneously. I can assign it to one button only. But it does not seem to have double pulse start option and because of that if I press the start button once accidentally the car will start. It happened a number of times while the key was in my pocket. I was just thinking out about pressing the silent button first and then start button to start the engine because silent and start buttons are right next to each other. Also, silent button seems to have some kind of timer delay or won't cancel out until the one-time circle is complete. I don't even know if it can be done or how much trouble I have to go thru to do that. I thought it would be nice to know more about silent mode output. So I posted this question.
