hello everyone! just need a little help here..i am working on this 1995 honda accord.. my cousin's car..this car has a VIPER 350HV installed a year ago..he want me to add a RS on it..what i have here is a AVITAL 4111 RS...i believe that the VIPER alarm system has a yellow wire + IGNITION INPUT and it is also connected to a relay for starter kill..now the AVITAL rs also have the yellow wire +IGNITION OUTPUT..this is the wire that goes to the VIPER +IGNITION input of the alarm system right..do i have to disconnect the ignition input of the alarm system and connect to the RS ignition out?
the starter out from the AVITAL rs goes to the starter side of the starter kill em i right?
parking light flash of the RS..do i need to put a diode when i hook this up? or i can just tap this to the VIper +parking light flash?
thanks in advance guys

Ignition - Chances are the avital ignition wire will be a larger gauge so you are better off running that to the factory ignition wire and then reconnect the viper ignition input into the Avital ignition wire.
Starter - Must go on the vehicle side of the cut starter wire.
Parking Lights - They are both an output so you should not need to diode isolate them, but you can if you wish.
Also, if the viper has an auxiliary output, you can connect this to the activation input of the remote start (make sure to program according to the number of inputs you wish to require). This will allow you to use the viper remote to activate the avital remote starter.

On the 4113, it has the thick pink ignition wire, that wire will now connect to the ignition harness. Nothing else will tap into that pink wire.
On the 350HV you will have a yellow wire coming off and connecting to an ignition source. Most likely it will be connected to the ignition wire at the ignition harness of the car, same place where you want to hook the Pink wire from the 4113.
You want to disconnect the 350HV yellow wire from its ignition source and join it to the yellow ignition output wire on the 4113 you were asking about.
Another thing comes to mind, You will most likely need to use the blue or blue/white status wire with a relay to open up the power wire to the shock sensor during remote start. The shock sensor will probably set off the alarm when the engine cranks.

Ahh. I completely looked over the part about the 4113 having an ignition sense output. And good point on the shock sensor... I didn't even think of that.

you might be better off looking at the avital 5103 unit instead with everything built in. It will be a cleaner install and don't need to interface with the shock sensor and remote start. the all in one unit will take care of it on its own. then you have everything on one remote and 1500' range.
