Peugeot 206 Alarm Wiring Info UK

Hi guys im going to be installing a alarm system in my 206 can anyone send me wiring info. The car is a 1999 206.

12V+, Ignition, lock and unlock, indicators and door/trunk triggers are all on the BSI box to the right of the steering column. Just get out your DMM and start testing. Locks are 5 wire square plug to your left, indicators 2 wires in centre square, door triggers, quadlock plugs to the rear. Peugeot changed the colours every 2 weeks so you must test!

A 99 should have the most common type, low current neg(-) what this site and the Americans call type "B". If you wait a few minutes, I'll go to Autodata and give you the wire numbers* at the BSI box. I tend to use the motor wires to save time, but that depends on the make and model alarm, whether it has 6 or 2 lock wires.

* I said numbers because Peugeot in their wisdom (the world's worst electronics and switch build quality) change their colours every 3 months, you will possibly need a good light and a magnifying glass to read those numbers. If you PM me with an email address I can even send you pictures of a 206 install.

Its all very not sure, which is why I always tackle them as a new vehicle every time. On the fusebox/BSI you will have a plug with two very thick leads, the red is 12V+ constant, the other ignition. Lock/unlock, (-) 693 and 6232 pins 10 and 7 plug "F" Lock motor wires, 620 and 621 5 and 16, plug "B", square plug to the left. I'm not sure which is lock and which is unlock, you will have to test. Door triggers, plug "F", 7,6 4 wires, front back separation, diode together. Hatch lamp, one will be pos (+), the other switched neg (-), on opening the hatch, the second wire.
