Sony Xplode

I keep hearing nothing but bad things about sony xpolde speakers but i installed some in a friends car and they seem alright.... Any one elce have sony xplode speakers? what do you think of them?

The older Xplods suck , but they are getting better.  I am currently running all new Xplod 6.5"'s (3-way up front, 2-way out back) in my Civic.  But I did get rid of the Xplod subs, but the new pentagonal ones are better.  I stepped up to Rockford DVC's.

 Trust me their equipment has the name Xplode for a reason. When it comes to car audio Sony is not know for reliability.

i have been hearing nothing good about there xplode amps as well.
