I am installing a pioneer navi and need help locating my VSS wire.
My car is a 2002 BMW 325CI. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also for the reverse gear detection can i use the rear backup lights to supply the necessary voltage.
Thanks
Rem

The VSS wire is BLACK/ white, pin #10, at the radio harness. If your wondering why it is in the radio plug, its because the radio uses this wire to see how fast your driving and will automatically adjust the volume of the radio to compensate for road noise.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
I knew about the speed adjusting volume on the radio but the thought never crossed my mind that they used the VSS to incread the volume.
I will be checking for it this weekend.
