1999 suburban help!

I installed new sony explode 3 way speakers in place of the stock ones in my suburban, When I took off the door panels some of the white clips stayed in the panel and some of them stayed in the door.  When I re-install the panels do I start with all the white screw things(????) in the panel or the door and what do and do I use to take them out and put them in  besides a special tool, and any tips on making them go back in smoother..I also blew a Fuse I think when installing overhead monitor.  I installed in place of the 2nd overhead light.  I have a performance teknique flip down(ICBM-9357T).   anyone know the correct wiring..The teknique comes with a din plug for the video and a red and black wire.  The previous dome light had 2 black wires a white wire and a orange wire.  which one goes to the red wire?  Do I slpice both black of the truck to the single black of the tv?  I checked both the side fuse panel and under the hood and doesn't appear to be any fuses blown yet I don't have any interior lights except the dash, the cig lighter works and the power windows but no power mirrors and no interior lights...HELP..Oh one more thing..there was a PURPLE / WHITE stripe wire in the trucks stereo harness and it is not a speaker wire..IS the interior lights on a wire that leads into the stereo harness I pulled all unnecessary wires because I pulled stock cd player and head unit out..Is the vss wire on this harness?

Thx for the reply, the Chilton Manual says that I could experience problems with the timing.  Any other suggestions for checking the interior lights/power mirror situation they are not even on the same circuit.
