I have only done one box with rectangle ports but the sound quality i think i not as good as a regular port. The rectangle port bounces the sound around to much a give it the kinda dull sound. Now i admit they do look pimp but for a loss in sound quality in wouldnt use a rectangular port.

Ketel22 is correct it should be 3"x10"x15, which would give you a port area of 30 sq in. You could also go 2"x15"x15 Is this a MMATS pro 15?  http://www.mmatsproaudio.com/pdfs/recommendenclosures.pdf

You would probally get the best all around sound and looks by making four rectangular ports so youll have enough air for the 15.

yes it is the pro 15 and what is the advantage of have the port turn at the end instead of have it just go straight down
