How do I make a cicuit dalay before activating. I am installing a 552t remote start for a friend of mine and he's cheap and lazy. He doesn't want to use the remote start key fob to start the car. He wants to use the factory fob because it has a crappy alarm on it.(honk, honk, honk,) He already has the 552t. I want to use the lock button on his fob to start the remote start with the negative pulse wire. I don't want the car to start everytime he locks his doors with his remote! I want to it to start if he holds the lock button on the remote for a few seconds. How do I build this dalay? I know he should have bought a 551r, but it's too lae now. My only other option would be if anyone had figured out how to arm and disarm the factory alarm in a 2002 hyundai danta fe. From what I have read, you can't do it. He also wants to keep the panic button so that option is gone too.

Not possible to arm it without the factory remote.
It will disarm if it sees ignition AND keysense together. When the Hyundai alarm sees keysense, the factory remote no longer works. Gotta love Hyundai....
