I am being faced with an XM install on a porche-  a little leary, but i wouldnt mind the money... has anyone out there who has worked on a an expensive Porche, are they difficult?  Its a hundred dollar bid, but i am a but nervous to damage anything that is exeptionally expensive to replace.

The only part that I would be worried about is the antenna, everything else should be easy. There will be a 4 pin connector in the front of the center console that you can get your power and ground from, you may also be able to get to the antenna from here as well. The front side panel on either side of the center console will come out easily, just pull from the bottom. The radio will pull out with some european radio removal keys, porsche radio's are a tight fit so they can be hard to pull out, so be carefull and take your time but it will come out.
