Amp noise from typerf x7

I don't know if this is a problem because of the cold, but any info would help. I currently have a Typerf X7 amp ran to one 18" 3218 rockford sub. Anyway my amp has started to make a buzzing noise, I just noticed when it started to get below twenty. When I mute the hu you can hear it good and when I power it off it is gone. has anyone seen or heard this before.The Clear Bra Guy

This is a Rockford amp?  Yes, I've seen this before.  A buddy at work had the same noise- the truck didn't even have to be running.  If you wiggled the ground wire at the amp, it went away- the chassis ground was good.  I think this is some sort of quality control issue- I've never thought very highly of Rockford.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.

I think Rockford makes great products that are underrated. Just look at the components inside of their amps compared to similar priced ones.  Their design is well thought out and they make good sounding products

Rockford Fosgate is on top of its game in the mid 03 up to now. You may want to test your ground..and gain. If the car is being kept outside or in a garage is under a certain degree you may get this problem. ~The Rookie~

I noticed yesterday when the vehicle interior is room tempeture it will go away. Man I have know idea, I will try and move the ground around and see what that does. thanxThe Clear Bra Guy
