Whats up to all? 2001 Civic Immobilizer, DEI 555U - Last Post -- posted image. I was wondering if anyone has installed a remote start on a 2001 Honda Civic before. I have the DEI 555U Immoblizer and in the instructions, it says that on some cars you have to/ or can tap into the factory antenna for the immobilizer. I was wondering if anyone knows the color code and what wires are what. Also, its a standard and im trying to figure out how to bypass the clutch switch. It has two of them. Any help or ideas? Thanks 2001 Civic Immobilizer, DEI 555U - Last Post -- posted image. 2001 Civic Immobilizer, DEI 555U - Last Post -- posted image.

Hi, gpgtp00

What you have to do is just follow the instruction of the 2001 Civic Immobilizer, DEI 555U - Last Post -- posted image. 555U (Standar Immobilizer Interface)and than the Red Wire to the White wire 12 V (Ignition Harness)and the Blue Wire to the Status Output of  the Remote Start System.    2001 Civic Immobilizer, DEI 555U - Last Post -- posted image.   That is it and I guaranted that gonna work. Honda uses a (-) trigger clutch activation so just strip back the wires on one of the 2 wires that you have and connect it to a ground source for a test. Turn over the car ( make sure it's in neutral and in a well ventilated area ) and if it starts, you have the right wire and if not try the other wire. When you have the correct wire figured out, then connect the ground out when running wire to this wire and your set.
