Does anyone know the esiest way to install this in a 2001 Grand Prix. Is it by using the antenna ring from the module on the ignition or by cutting the antenna off and hooking up to the Factory Tranceiver Module.
Also I was told that the 556U is the same as the 555U but just upgraded to work on European cars.

ive only used a 555U and it works great.  put the key in, run the antenna ring, connect to 12v and ground when running (status).  its very reliable and doesnt involve cutting anything so uninstallation is easy, the factory wiring is left intact.

How about the blue wire to the negative status output from remote starter. That needs to be connected too, right.
