Hey all. Was anyone aware that on the 04 Honda Civic models equipped with manual transmissions are not identical to the 03 models? You see, I ordered from Crutchfield, and they gave me factory stereo removal procedures, and for the manual transmission, they tell you to remove the shift ring trim by simply prying it up. Well, that sort of works, but there is a screw that holds this trim ring down, thus, it does not simply "pop up."
So, all of you 04 civic owners, beware. Crutchfield's advice is not always "vehicle specific." Their information cost me a broken shift ring, and all they told me was "sorry."

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
