? are you wanting to add a aftermarket head unit or are you going to keep the factory ?

If we learn from each success and
each failure, then we can improve ourselves

I am going to keep the factory head unit it is a sort of double decker unit the speaker outputs

come from the bottom half surrounded by heatsinks,it is made by matsush*ta model no.

86120-42061.I would disconect the existing rears(probally) then use left and right pre outs

into a alpine amp then in to alpine 6x9 ovals which i will mount into a new shelf. So i need to know

+'ve and neg've pre outs, and rear speaker outs. There are 3 separate conector blocks,2 on lower

part (by heatsinks) and 1 block on upper part, the unit also displays fuel economy, ave speed etc

The rear speaker lead colors might be the following:

right rear - : White

right rear + : Red

Left rear speaker - : Yellow

Left rear speaker + : Black

Here is what the connector on the back of the radio should look like. Use a l ine level convertor on these outputs. It will give your amp preamp outputs.
